PM Kisan Big Update: More Than 10 crore Farmers to Get 13th Installment Tomorrow?

Govt. will release long awaited 13th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Saman Nidhi Yojana to more than 10 crore farms in India soon.

PM Kisan Latest News: Good news for farmers before Christmas and New Year! According to several media reports, the Center can release the 13th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana anytime now.

Some media reports claimed that it could be released on 25 December i.e. 'Christmas' as well as the birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee (former Indian Prime Minister). In 2020, the government had transferred the financial assistance of Rs. 2000 in the account of the farmers on 25th December. So there is a possibility that this year also the farmers can get the money on the same day. However, no official announcement has been made regarding this yet.

If the money is not released on December 25, it can be shifted to the first week of January 2023.

Many farmers may not receive the 13th installment

It is to be noted that those farmers who have not updated their e-KYC till date will not get the 13th installment. The government had made it very clear and reminded time and again that those who do not update e-KYC will not be given financial assistance and their names will also be removed from the list.

Such farmers can visit the nearest agriculture department or common service center and check whether they can still update their e-KYC.

For the past few months, e-KYC was made mandatory to prevent frauds and scams going on under this scheme.

How to do e-KYC

There are two modes of completing e-KYC – one is offline and the other is online. Below we have mentioned the online process;

Visit the official website of PM Kisan Yojana

Click on e-KYC under the Farmers Corner section on the right side of the website.

Enter your Aadhaar number.

Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.

After that click on 'Submit'.

Your KYC is done.

PM Kisan Yojana is one of the successful schemes of the Central Government. Under this, farmers are given financial assistance of Rs 6,000 in three installments of Rs 2000 every year. The first installment is given from 1 April to 31 July, the second installment from 1 August to 30 November and the third installment from 1 December to 31 March. So far the government has released 12 installments.
