Importance of a farming systems
In a country like India where farming is a primary sector and has about 80%
small/marginal farmers work to fulfill the basic requirements such as cereal,
oil-seeds, fruits, vegetable, pulses, honey, and meat). In the past, many
efforts have already been made to increase the rate of productivity of farming
systems such as crop, livestock, dairy, poultry, goat keeping, sericulture,
apiculture, mushroom cultivation, and more.
